We are excited to announce that on February 14th, The Adventures of Chuck & Friends: Friends to the Finish will be making its way to DVD at a store near you!
Tatertot has been a HUGE fan of Chuck since he received a Chuck the talking truck for Christmas a few years back. Since that Christmas you can’t disappoint when gifting him something from the Chuck the Truck line (see image for proof…..).
These days we watch A LOT of The Adventures of Chuck & Friends on television when ever we can catch it. Now, we own The Adventures of Chuck & Friends on DVD which features 10 episodes and an awesome color-your-own-cover activity (Tatertot LOVED having this activity to work on!). Now kids can follow CHUCK THE DUMP TRUCK character and his incredible cast of friends in this delightfully fast-paced, song-filled, high-energy series for preschoolers. Every visitor to the truck stop where CHUCK lives fuels his exciting fantasies, and he enlists his pals DIGGER, BOOMER, ROWDY, SOKU, BIGGS and HANDY to turn those fantasies into reality.
Check out the great trailer now!
Also, be sure to print this awesome coloring sheet for your little one. Tatertot has colored it multiple times!!

The great news is, The Megalomaniac Mommy is giving away 1 copy of The Adventures of Chuck & Friends on DVD! You can enter to win using the Rafflecopter form below!
As everyone is aware, we welcomed our little Miss Bean to the family in December. Once again I am breastfeeding however this time around things are a little different like the part in which Bean will actually take a bottle whereas her older brother Tatertot would not.
What does that mean for me?
Well, with Bean willingly taking a bottle it allows me more free time than I had the last time around and means I am pumping the girls like crazy to build up a supply of boobie milk in both the fridge and the freezer.
When Bean was born she lost weight rapidly at the hospital which delayed her coming home, this was mostly due to my milk supply not coming in fast enough. In order to get her home we had to supplement with formula for a few feedings while I pumped like crazy to force my supply to arrive. This was no easy task….sitting in a hospital bed, holding two breast shields while pumping and being extremely uncomfortable.
Upon our arrival home and my budding relationship with my beautiful new breast pump I was still struggling to find a way to pump and be comfortable while doing so.
So I did what any other blogging mommy would do…..I turned to the interwebs.
I searched for hands free pumping bras and read review after review on different brands.
And then I found one that best suited my needs.
I reached out to them and they kindly sent me a hands free pumping bra to review.
It arrived.
I am IN LOVE.
Having this bra has given me freedom to be productive while I pump. Now I can read, blog, tweet, even talk on the phone while pumping. Not only does it allow me to be more functional but I am able to be in a comfortable position while pumping now too!
Another thing that made me decide that the Simple Wishes hands free pumping bra was the one for me is the fact that it came big enough and allows it to be adjusted tot he extreme making it something that will be able to decrease in size as I do!
Big thanks to Simple Wishes for a wonderful bra that I stand behind 100%!

As you know, we recently welcomed the newest addition to our family, Little Miss Baby Bean. Of course with her arrival, we were very excited to share her and announce her birth to all of our friends and family near and far. Thanks to our wonderful friends at Tiny Prints we were able to do so with some beautiful custom birth announcements.
When choosing the perfect birth announcement for Bean, I spent hours looking through them all and trying out different pictures until I finally went back to the first one I had ‘tried on’ and decided this was the one!

Tiny Prints did such a wonderful job with these announcements and was even nice enough to adjust the coloring in the original photo to make sure we were getting a great print! We have grown to love Tiny Prints over the years and have used a variety of their products including holiday cards, day planners, thank you notes and more and I’m already looking through baby shower invites for a close friends shower that will be happening in a few months!
Thank you Tiny Prints for once again for a job well done and for helping us share the news of the birth of our Little Bean!

Every now and then we like to play dress up in our house.
No….not in the dirty way.
We have a 3.5 year old with a very active imagination who loves to play dress up and every now and then we like to catch him off guard by dressing up too.
Lately, the little dude has been referring to the Hardworking Hubby as Chef since he has been the one taking care of our meals lately.
It started one night while we were eating dinner and Tatertot turned to HH and said,
“Chef, what did you make for us tonight?”
Seriously, the kid is that cute!
A week later, AdultCostumes.com reached out to me and asked if we would like to review a costume from their site and they just happened to have a Chef costume.
This was perfect.
We ordered the costume and it arrived just in time for the HH to wear while preparing a feast for the family to enjoy on New Years Eve.
So, right before he started cooking the HH pulled a quick change on the preschooler and put on his Chef jacket and hat.
When Tatertot saw his dad donning that Chef jacket and hat his eyes were huge! And then he looked at his dad and said,
“See, I told you you were a Chef daddy!”
Since that night, every time the Hardworking Hubby begins prepping for a meal Tatertot grabs him his Chef jacket and hat so he is properly dressed to cook!
I personally think the costume suits him just fine, I’ve always had a thing for a guy in uniform, even more when there is food involved!
I was also very happy with the quality of this costume. In all honesty I was expecting a cheap Chef jacket and hat to arrive and that I would have to sew buttons back on before he could actually wear it. I am happy that I was wrong and the costume is durable!
I also think the costume helped make dinner even better. Look at these NY strips!
