I learned on Twitter tonight that there was a ‘blogger‘ (and I use that term loosely when referring to this individual) who has been stealing content from other blogs.
I just spent the last hour and a half going through the archives of this blog to see how many people fell victim to this individual.
The list….
it’s long.
See for yourself.
(The stars next to the names show how many posts were stolen from the original creator’s site).

While I was looking through everything, I stumbled across another blog.
These 2 blogs are very much alike.
Posting A LOT of the same STOLEN content.
Yes.
Not only is there one blog out there stealing content from some unbelievably talented writers in the blogosphere but there are 2!
The sad thing is, it’s the same person pretending to be 2 different people and pretending to live a TON of other people’s lives by using their content.
How do I know it’s the same person?
I don’t.
Why do I think it’s the same person?
The footer on both of the sites is exactly the same.
I hate people like this.
Is your life really that dull that you need to steals words from other people?
The owners of these posts poured their hearts out when creating them and you think it’s okay to just copy them from one site and paste them to yours without giving proper credit.
It’s people like you who give bloggers a bad name.
And I personally CANNOT WAIT until you get caught!!!

I linked this post on a post I wrote about the same person…Thnx for making the list, hopefully everyone she stole from will report her and get her yanked…
Her “about me” is actually copied verbatim from someone on Myspace. Google a few lines of it. It’s ridiculous.
@Qweenie, I’m hoping she does get yanked soon. I just noticed that the second blog mentioned has now been set to private.
I just don’t know how someone can have the nerve to steal another person’s words.
Thanks for sharing the link.
@Heather, Yeah, it’s like that on both blogs mentioned and now there is a 3rd one. It’s just sad.
@Annie, that about me section is actually written by me and has been on my blog for several years now. She didn’t plagiarize my posts, just my About Me section, oddly enough.
@Heather, if you get a chance, could you send me the My Space profile that uses the same wording? Because that is certainly not mine, suggesting there is another plagiarizer floating around… sigh.
What an awful mess. Thank you for doing all that research and compiling a list of people she stole from. I hope they shut her down.
Hey Annie,
Thank you for doing so much work! Do you remember what the 2nd post of mine was?
I want to screen cap it
Thank you!
Rachel
HEY, my blogs not on that list!
What’s wrong with my blog?
HA!
@Rachel, I can’t remember which post it was but I’m going to go back through them later tonight because I know I missed some. When I find it, I will take a screen shot and I will let you know which one it is too.
@kim @ mommyknows, Right!
I hope she gets shut down. The nerve of some people…
I’m not leaving my URL here… but I hope none of stuff is on the one blocked out to random people. It’s so sick that people can’t come up with their own shit…
Copying may be the sincerest form of flattery, but it’s also the most foul, reprehensible, immoral way of saying “gee I like what you write” when there’s also ‘pasting’ and ‘claiming as your own’ involved.
This is just mind-boggling.
@The Zany Housewife, Agreed! I mean really, how hard is it to put your on thoughts into words?
@Jenny, For the most part it’s the same posts copied to the other blog (the one that’s now by invite only. I just hope who ever this person is gets what they’ve got coming to them.
@Lucretia Pruitt, I completely get what you’re saying. It is flattering but wrong. This person has WAY to much time on their hands and apparently leads a very, very boring life!
What’s the most amusing is that her sidebar quickiprofile says “I hate liars. And hypocrites.”
But yeah, sadly these über no-life “bloggers” exist. What would drive a person to “borrow” events, even mundane every day things, from others, I’ll never understand, but this person isn’t the first to do it and she won’t be the last. :/
She stole an interview from a pastor! Wow.
This post:

is stolen from a pre-1995 interview with Rick Warren. Here is a properly credited source:

This is really sad – mommy outnumbered must not have made it through high school, because I’m pretty sure plagiarism is covered there.
On another note, I’m hoping she didn’t steal photos of the three boys she claims to have, because as sucky as it is to copy a post and claim authorship, stealing pictures of people’s kids to pass off as your own is DOWNRIGHT CREEPY.
What a shame. But i thought Google has those bots which are able to detect if your content is copied from someone else, and thus degrades your ranking?
I am a little late to join in the conversation, but a big thank you. I don’t know how you recognized my post, and it took me some time to search thru her posts. But, she did in fact copy my writing. I will be complaining. Thank you!
