We all get Spam.
It comes in a variety of forms.
In emails.
In comments on blog posts.
In tweets on Twitter.
In wall posts on Facebook.
From time to time, I actually read through the Spam comments I get on this here blog before hitting the Empty Spam button that WordPress so kindly offers me.
Today was one of those days.
My favorite Spam comment comes from ZX-14lady who said:
Just cause you got the monkey off your back doesn’t mean the circus has left town.
Well, ZX-14lady, let me tell you, I am well aware that the Circus has not left town. It has taken over my home and that damn Monkey keeps flinging poo everywhere!
Then there is this comment from bmx news that made me feel REALLY good about myself.
Very good, i like you.And say and say ………. It’s greatttttttttttt……..
See.
Wouldn’t that alone make you feel all warm and cuddly inside?

Oh, I received a spam tweet yesterday which said, ” “Valuable tips on how to avoid being robbed or attacked. Please repost to your followers”…but it was sent to me in Portuguese!!! So I had to copy the whole thing in its original form, then looked for an online translator/interpreter site. Pasted the thing and the results got me even more confused! Had to ask a cousin who speaks spanish and (apparently) also Portuguese, and so he translated it for me. Wasted all that time for a spam tweet. I guess I was bored, huh? Oh well…

Some days I really appreciate my Spam. Every now and then I’ll just let it continue to pile up and then read through them. I am quite fond of the ones that are in a Foreign language!
