So this Friday, I am being REALLY lazy! (Okay so I’ve been lazy most of the week but
mostly because I felt like a big bag of poo!)
I have also had a busy week with school and still have a huge project due tonight and another
one due on Sunday.
( Needless to say, I know where I will be spending most of my weekend.)
I have no weekend question prepared or a cute little video involving one of my children.
What I do have, is an email I received from a friend this morning.
I thought it was funny!
It made me laugh. A LOT!
I wanted to share it with you.
Enjoy!
Two Young Boys
Two young boys walked into a pharmacy one day, picked out a box of
tampons and proceeded to the checkout counter.
The man at the counter asked the older boy, “Son, how old are you?”
“Eight,” the boy replied.
The man continued, “do you know what these are used for?”
The boy replied, “not exactly, but they aren’t for me. They’re
for him. He’s my brother. He’s four.
We saw on TV that if you use these you would be able to swim and
ride a bike. Right now, he can’t do either.”

Hope you got a nice little chuckle out of this too!
Have a great weekend!
This is the post that I have been composing in my head. Planning the perfect way to put it into the written word. I hope others can relate, understand and do not look at me in a negative way for anything I say in this post. Thank you in advance!
This past weekend, the Hardworking Hubby and I got to experience something that we both have thought about and never thought we would ever know the feeling of. If you followed me on Facebook or Twitter at all over Memorial Weekend than it is no surprise to hear that my 2 oldest children, Zman & Drama Queen, went camping with my parents for the weekend (they were gone Sat. – Mon. — they do spend time at my parents house often but usually from 6pm or later until noon the next day) allowing the HH, myself and Tatertot to become a family of 3 for the first time! We were given 48 uninterrupted hours of pure quality time with the little dude!
If you are new to my blog, here’s a brief history. Up until 3 years ago, Zman, the Drama Queen & myself were a very happy little family of 3. I had planned on staying a family of 3. I never had any desire to get married or have more children, but that all changed when I met the Hardworking Hubby. From the moment he came into my life, I knew things were going to change for our little family of 3. It was not much longer and BOOM! we were an instant family of 4! The Hardworking Hubby and I dated, got engaged, got pregnant, got married and BOOM! we were a family of 5!
There was never that chance for us to be married, have our 1st child and enjoy spoiling that child. There were so many things, steps, that had been skipped (but I know everything happens for a reason and I have no regrets about my past or that my Hardworking Hubby had to love not only me, but all my ‘baggage’ too. He willing accepted our little family of 3 and was happy to be our 4th.
Okay, so back to this past weekend when we had our family of 3 experience. I have to admit, I loved it! I loved every minute of it! (I did also miss Zman & Drama Queen A LOT and was thankful for their cell phone –LOVE TEXTING) The Hardworking Hubby and I enjoyed the quiet. We enjoyed not having to turn around and yell at kids to stop fighting in the backseat. We loved no one arguing with us that it was time to go to bed. We loved driving up to HH’s grandmas for lunch knowing that there would be more room around the table since we were down 2 family members. We loved taking Tatertot to Bay Beach for the 1st time and being able to devote that time just to him.
We enjoyed our 1 on 1 time with our little guy and will cherish the opportunity we were given for a lifetime! I do love our family of 5, but it was nice to be just a family of 3 for 48 hours. (What am I going to do when we are a family of 6???)
I took LOTS (that’s the understatement of the year) of pictures and some videos and I wanted to share them with you!
Enjoy!
Here are a few of my favorite pics!
Forgive me for my slacking….I have not forgotten everyone.
After a busy holiday weekend I tried to find the time to write a great post I have been composing in my head.
But….the Hardworking Hubby & I are both under the weather and now the little Tatertot is coming down with it too!
I am hoping I will have a chance to get it finished and posted before Friday.
I shall return!
Thanks!
I have had a very productive Friday.
I slept til noon (Thank you Hardworking Hubby who let me sleep in due to my losing lots of sleep this week because of a really crabby needy baby!)
I took a shower, got dressed and headed up to the kids school to watch the Civil War Re-enactment
Then the Hardworking Hubby and I, along with Tatertot went out for a late lunch @ Margaritas Mexican Restaurant and splurged in honor of his birthday (almost 3 weeks ago).
Picked the kids up from the bus stop.
Then headed to the library.
Rescued a stray dog running around a busy street.
Contacted her owner and waited for her to be picked up.
This is her….her name is Maya
Now I am going to be lazy for the remainder of the day.
Tomorrow I get to drive Zman and the Drama Queen up north to camp with my parents then it’s just me, the Hardworking Hubby and Tatertot til Monday!
I hope everyone has a FABULOUS Memorial Weekend!
Here’s a video of the Tatertot to make you giggle!
Enjoy!
